Working alongside the Smile Foundation has always been an inspiring journey for our team. Their motivation to improve education and empower teachers and students is truly commendable. Recently, we had the chance to collaborate with them on the implementation and training of iPrep Digital Class, a smart classroom in schools in Kolkata, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression on us.

During our initial visits to the schools, we encountered a unique situation. Due to the ongoing Panchayat elections in town, most teachers were on duty. However, with the invaluable assistance of some Smile Foundation members, we managed to persuade the teachers to attend training sessions after regular school hours.

What made this training truly exceptional for the teachers was the content’s alignment with the West Bengal Board curriculum, spanning classes 1st to 10th, and presented in three languages – Bengali, Hindi, and English. The teachers eagerly participated in the training and shared their excitement about the possibilities the smart class setup can offer them. Some teachers particularly appreciated the option to save PDFs directly on the Interactive Flat Display Panel, allowing them to easily access and teach or review specific topics at their convenience. Others found the annotation feature invaluable, enabling them to freeze the screen and highlight content for more in-depth explanations.

Experiencing the enthusiasm of teachers and our partners keeps reaffirming our belief in the power of education and technology to change lives. It’s moments like these that remind us of the impact we can make when we come together to support the educational aspirations of our future generations.
