PAL and Digital Library Rollout Across UP PM SHRI Schools Makes Headlines

The rollout of the Uttar Pradesh Digital Library initiative across 559 PM SHRI schools in all 75 districts has been featured by multiple regional and local media publications, highlighting the scale of the programme and its focus on strengthening digital learning in government schools.
The initiative brings together Personalised Adaptive Learning (PAL) and Digital Library available on computers and desktops to facilitate both teacher-led instruction and independent learning. Together, these two components enable students to practise at their own learning level while giving them access to a rich collection of digital books, videos and audio resources that encourage regular reading and exploration.
Media reports have also highlighted the programme’s implementation approach, which places teachers at the centre of digital adoption. Through structured capacity-building, hands-on demonstrations and school-level planning workshops, teachers are supported to integrate digital learning into their existing classroom practices in ways that suit their school’s infrastructure and timetable.
As the implementation partner, iDream Education is conducting teacher training, student onboarding, implementation planning and ongoing guidance, helping schools build sustainable digital learning practices that complement everyday teaching.
The coverage featured below reflects the growing recognition of collaborative efforts to strengthen ICT-enabled teaching and learning across government schools in Uttar Pradesh.
