Hi,
Wishing you and your family a very happy diwali.
Even if you read this email after your Diwali break, you will find something relevant and hence would request you to read on as this is beyond just the Diwali Greeting from me to you.
As Diwali lights up our homes and hearts, there’s a sense of excitement in the air – the anticipation of family gatherings, sweets, and celebrations. But amid all this joy, there’s a quieter buzz too, especially if you’re a student or a parent. Sitting with my own kids, I overheard them chatting and teasing each other about their assignments and revisions. It reminded me of a truth that’s often overlooked: while students celebrate, they’re also gearing up for exams. Coincidentally such a thing happens during Holi too. I remember our impending final exams were almost always around Holi.
For students facing Pre-Boards or upcoming Periodic Tests, the holiday season is bittersweet – a time for joy but also for preparation, as these exams play a big role in their final scores. While our kids are able to find multiple resources to support them in their preparation, it is not so the case with our last mile learners and those who go to government schools. For such students, schools are the only source of learning. Parents cannot support much and the families cannot afford tuitions.
iPrep has long served offline use cases with Smart Classrooms and tablet based digital libraries inside the school. But Covid made us and many others realize the importance of going online. A good thing is that iPrep is now available as an online mobile and web application as well. And anyone from anywhere can download iPrep from Google Play Store or Apple App store, subscribe to it and learn from it. On iPrep, students will be able to find all the local language content as per NCERT and various State Board curriculum. The same content that they get to use and learn from in their school.
This Diwali, you can help children around you who may need this support but lack access to learning resources by gifting them an iPrep subscription.
Whether it’s for the children of your household staff, drivers, or other community members, a one-year iPrep subscription provides unlimited access to curriculum-aligned content as well as learning resources that go beyond academics. And in the spirit of giving, we are happy to share a special coupon for a 50% discount on an iPrep subscription. Here’s how to use the coupon code:
- On the smartphone in which you want to download iPrep, go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Search for iPrep Learning App for 1-12
- Download it on the phone
- Register using the phone number of the person whose smartphone is being used
- Enter the OTP
- Ask them to onboard by selecting the appropriate board, language and grade
- To finish onboarding, they need to enter their child’s name and email ID. Email ID is not mandatory and can be skipped
- Once you arrive at the home screen, go to the main menu and click on Upgrade button
- Select the Annual or Quarterly plan that you would like to gift. Scroll down and you will see a space to write the discount code
- Write here: DIWALI50
- It will give a discount of 50% on the subscription cost. Go ahead and make the payment
- Once the payment is done, it will activate the appropriate plan of iPrep

If you’re planning a large-scale education initiative, I’d love to connect with you to discuss how we can custom implement iPrep to bring quality learning resources to our last mile learners. Let’s make this Diwali about illuminating not just our homes, but also learners across India.
