This is our first ever newsletter, and I’m Rohit Prakash – Co Founder at iDream Education writing to not only introduce ourselves, but also to seek your continued connection with us. Back in May 2016, Puneet and I (we were classmates at business school) started iDream Education with a shared belief — that every last mile learner deserves access to joyful, quality learning. On May 30th this year, we completed 9 years of working at the grassroots with government school students, teachers, and key stakeholders in the education ecosystem across India — and now, we’re beginning to extend our efforts to international contexts as well.
Over the years, our work has centered around resolving on-ground challenges – lack of access, limited infrastructure, limited learning outcomes, dropout risks, and insufficient teacher enablement. We’ve done this by building products with finer innovation, and services tailored for last-mile learners. In 9 years, we’ve taken digital learning to 23 states, 25,000+ classrooms, and into the hands of 15 lakh students — at school and at home.

We hope this gives you a sense of who we are. But this is just the beginning.
In the months to come, we’ll share with you stories from students who progressed through access to digital learning, perspectives from teachers who found joy and support in using iPrep on smart classes, behind-the-scenes insights from our implementations, and reflections on what truly works and what still needs attention to improve educational outcomes.
We’ll be sending out this newsletter twice a month with thoughtful, on-ground narratives and updates we hope you’ll find both useful and inspiring.
