Smart Class in Delhi Schools: Our Implementation & Training Experiences

Delhi is a city that moves fast – rich in culture, dense in population, and deeply connected to the digital world. From everyday services to learning resources, technology exposure here stays already high. This makes schools more open and ready for digital classrooms. Over the years, we have been working with Delhi schools through various CSR programs, NGO initiatives, and ecosystem partners to implement smart classes, digital libraries, ICT labs, and learning tablet solutions – contributing to the larger vision of strengthening digital education in government schools. In this blog, we share our on-ground implementation and teacher training experiences with an education NGO in two schools of North West Delhi.
About Setting Up Smart Classes in Delhi Schools

With the objective of strengthening classroom teaching through technology-enabled learning, a Delhi-based education NGO implemented smart classes in two government schools in North West Delhi. The smart class setup was enabled using LG Smart TVs with a pre-installed LMS. With offline smart class content for Classes 1 to 10, aligned with the NCERT curriculum in both Hindi and English mediums. The implementation aimed to facilitated digital learning through chapter-wise, board-aligned content. So teachers can seamlessly integrate this into their regular lesson plans. Smart classroom implementation makes classroom sessions more engaging, structured, and effective.
Reach of Implementation
- 50+ teachers
- 1,000+ students
To ensure smooth adoption of the smart class platform, an experiential training session was conducted for teachers.
During the session, the platform introduced teachers to its interface, navigation flow, and structure for accessing digital learning content. They explored how to open chapters, use video lessons during classroom teaching, and conduct quick quizzes to check student understanding. Several queries emerged around aligning digital modules with textbook sequencing and managing classroom time effectively. Guided walkthroughs and practical demonstrations addressed them. Teachers patiently followed the training team’s guidance and expressed appreciation on seeing their textbook content available in engaging digital formats.
We look forward to continued usage and adoption of the smart class platform. Along with ongoing guidance and support for teachers to help them use smart classes as a regular and reliable companion in their everyday teaching.
