Smart Classes in New Delhi Government Schools To Support 2,000+ Students & 35+ Teachers

New Delhi, India’s capital, is home to a rapidly growing urban population and one of the country’s largest public education systems. Every day, lakhs of students walk into government school classrooms across the city, representing diverse socio-economic backgrounds and learning needs. Ensuring that each of these students receives engaging, high-quality learning opportunities is a significant challenge. Recognizing this need, governments, CSR initiatives, NGOs, hardware providers, and other education ecosystem stakeholders are working together to digitize classrooms across the city.
We are sharing about one of our implementations of smart classes in New Delhi government schools, serving more than 2000 students and 35+ teachers
The initiative covered three government schools:
- Sarvodaya Co-Ed Vidyalaya,
- GB Panth Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya,
- Govt. Boys Senior Secondary School No. 2.
Each school was equipped with a Big VUE 65 Pro interactive panel integrated with a pre-installed Learning Management System (LMS). The system includes offline smart classroom content aligned with the CBSE Board for Classes 1 to 12. Available in both Hindi and English, the content is mapped directly to textbook progression, enabling teachers to seamlessly integrate digital resources into their ongoing lessons.
To support diverse learning styles and classroom needs, the platform offers multi-category digital content. Animated video lessons help strengthen conceptual understanding, while MCQ-based practice questions with instant feedback reinforce learning outcomes. Syllabus books provide continuity and reference support during lessons.
The platform also includes DIY project videos in Mathematics and Science, which teachers can use to encourage students to explore concepts through practical application. Interactive simulations to help students deepen conceptual understanding. Beyond core academics, smart class content also includes content from book library, ensuring holistic learning experiences.
With such a strong e-learning infrastructure in place, ensuring its effective adoption became a priority, for which experiential teacher training sessions were conducted.

During the training sessions, teachers came together with genuine curiosity and openness to understand how the Smart Class system functions. They also explored how it could support their classroom teaching.
One particularly encouraging aspect was that in one of the three schools, all teachers were present for the training. This is not always possible in many schools due to busy academic schedules, but their full participation created a more engaging and collaborative learning environment.
Plus, almost all teachers also took the opportunity to navigate the platform themselves. They explored subject-wise chapters and discussed how specific content categories would complement their regular lessons. We look forward to strong adoption and usage of smart classes in New Delhi schools.
