In the remote regions of Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, two government schools are experiencing a remarkable change — not just in infrastructure, but in community perception, student enrollment, and learning aspirations.
What once operated with a student strength of nearly 40 learners in 2025 is now preparing for an expected enrollment of 300–400 students in the coming years. Both schools have been redesigned as “beautiful by design” learning spaces, with vibrant wall paintings, engaging educational visuals, improved classroom environments, learning resources, reliable power backup systems, and enhanced overall infrastructure.

According to the school principals, families in nearby communities have started viewing these government schools differently. In fact, several students from private schools have already shifted to these institutions, a strong indicator of growing trust and confidence. Today, the schools already have 10–12 students who previously studied in private institutions. School principals believe this is only the beginning. “People nearby are now noticing the environment, facilities, and learning opportunities available here. We believe these schools will soon become the preferred schools for the community,” shared one of the principals.
Digitally Enabled Government Schools Helping Address Critical Challenge: Limited Teacher Availability
One of the most significant challenges faced by these government schools has been limited teacher availability, particularly for subject-specific instruction. In such environments, ensuring continuity and quality of learning becomes difficult.
The introduction of smart classroom solutions has helped address this gap meaningfully.
