Personalised Learning to Combat the Learning Gap occurred due to COVID Induced Lockdown

In recent years, personalised learning has become a buzzword in the education sector. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning gap has widened, and it has become crucial to personalise learning to ensure students don’t get left behind. This is true not only for our students in Indore, Patalganga, and Kurkumbh, whom we gave iPrep Tablets earlier in 2021, but also for students in Bangalore. As the pandemic forced schools to shut down, students faced a significant learning gap, which could affect their academic performance. In response, we enabled iPrep Tablets in schools in Bangalore.

Each tablet was preloaded with digital content for classes 9th and 10th, aligned with the Karnataka Board in Kannada and English medium for offline access. With these tablets, students could access the content of any grade when connected to the internet. 

The tablets empowered students to learn at their own pace and without the fear of being judged. In a short time, they could catch up with their learning and cope with the gap. This led to increased interest and improved results in the board exams of class 10th.

Personalised learning is essential for bridging the learning gap and ensuring every student has equal access to quality education. With tablets, students could learn at their own pace and access digital content anywhere and anytime.
