Celebrate Independence Day with the Har Ghar Tiranga Initiative: Ignite a Deep Sense of Patriotism

The “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative, was launched in the spirit of India’s Independence Day. It is a powerful call to every citizen to connect with their national identity on a profound level. It strives to rekindle the flame of patriotism and foster a greater understanding of the significance of our National Flag, the Tiranga.  

This campaign invites 

Every Indian to proudly display the Tiranga in their homes, transforming it from a distant symbol into a personal emblem of pride and unity.

Historically, our relationship with the flag has often been formal and reserved. “Har Ghar Tiranga” seeks to change that, fostering a deeply personal and heartfelt connection with the Tiranga. 

It’s a reminder that the Indian National Flag isn’t merely a piece of cloth, but a representation of our collective journey, our struggles, and our triumphs. It embodies the spirit of India – diverse, resilient, and united.

In this spirit of national unity, the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with MyGov, has launched several engaging initiatives to celebrate the Tiranga and encourage active participation:

• Har Ghar Tiranga Quiz 2024: Test your knowledge about the Tiranga and its history.
• Express your Patriotism through Stories and Experiences: Share your personal stories and experiences related to the national flag.
• My Tiranga Journey Reel Contest: Create a captivating reel showcasing your journey with the Tiranga.
• Selfie with Tiranga: Capture your patriotic spirit in a selfie with the national flag.

Join the Har Ghar Tiranga movement and contribute your unique voice to the celebration of our nation’s independence! Let’s make this Independence Day a tribute to both our national spirit and the boundless potential of our youth.
